Sun King Alpacas is located within the city of North Port, Florida, in the agriculturally zoned section called The Estates.

The alpaca industry in Florida is probably growing faster than that of any other state in the country. It is exciting to be a part of such rapid success.
Boarding
I treat my guest animals as if they were my own. Our animals' well-being is our top priority.

Our herdsires have the finest of bloodlines from 3,000 mi. away. They are a variety of colors; black, white, brown and fawn.
Ducks
We have a 1/4 acre pond (fenced off) where we can catch and eat our own fish. We also have a couple of ducks that our neighbor gave us.

Raising alpacas does not have to involve a lot of property and hundreds of animals. Alpacas are ideal for those who want to be successful financially and want the benefits of a farm lifestyle without the burden of a huge operation.

There are 3 camilids native to South America; the llama, the alpaca, and the vicuna. Archeological excavations suggest that these animals have been domesticated since 4,000-5,000 B.C.
